As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Jody takes a Foundations-based approach to nutrition. The foundational approach focuses on nutrient-dense foods, good digestion and blood sugar handling, proper hydration, mineral balance, and the benefits of good fats for healing and health. Her practice focuses on bringing balance to the fundamental systems of the body, which in turn will allow for optimal health.
Jody received her formal training at Nutritional Therapy Association where she was trained to identify nutritional deficiencies and work with clients to correct them. She believes in traditional foods and the science behind why they are so important in our diet. Properly prepared, nutrient-dense foods are the basis of optimal health and the focus of her work.
She’s has had a long-time passion for nutritional approaches to good health and loves helping people work towards optimal health through nutrient-dense foods. Food IS medicine.
